What do you get when connecting a Jordanian, Italian and Canadian together? The obvious conclusion is a hotel on Monte Rosa! We were all drawn to this place, and an immediate passion was born which lead to the revival of a remarkable abandoned hotel… (A long story that I’ll be writing about in our blog)

Chalet du Lys is the name we gave to our hotel, situated in the beautiful valley of the Lys at the bottom of Monte Rosa in the area of Staffal. It sits 1850 mt above sea level, and has just 23 inhabitants, 26 if you include us. We are just over 3 kilometres from Gressoney – La – Trinite’s town centre.

The hotel is strategically situated at the bottom of the beautiful slope of St. Anna with the cable-car only 150mts away.

To make it even faster and easier for you get onto those slopes, we provide the Ski rental and ski deposit service in the hotel. You don’t even have to queue for your ski pass, it will be handed out to you with your morning coffee. Perfect!

Allow yourself to be mesmerised by the beauty of Monte Rosa, and don’t be surprised if you fall in love. You may find yourself coming here year after year, for your summer or winter holidays.
